Creation of content (facts) is always done via input masks. Depending on the content-service, the input mask is created from various input fields. The original contents (original facts) are always stored in the corresponding service filings. There are two different ways to create contents via input masks. Not every user has all ways at disposal. To differentiate the advantages offered by the separate ways, please read the following information in the respective detailed chapter:
Starting point 1 within structure (Structure):
A fact is created in a folder; the original of it is put automatically in the corresponding service filing. A shortcut to the original fact is immediately created in this folder.
-> Navigate in the folder structure to the folder, where you want to create a new fact. There click on the link in the left frame (options area), on the link "create fact". If you cannot find the link there, then you dont have work permissions for this location (see Assign permissions to groups). Now choose from the following list the desired fact type (text, file
). The appropriate Input mask will be opened.
Starting point 2 Service filing (Content Services):
The facts created directly in the appropriate service filing at first possess no shortcuts to a folder. These can be created afterwards. There are two possibilities to access the service filings:
-> Access through the menu: In your main menu you can find a button to a service filing (News, Events, Downloads
). Now you can see the link "
add" In the left frame (options area). Through this link you will reach the Input mask.
-> Access through the Factlist & Search: Here you can find the link "create fact" in the left frame (options area). Through this link you come to a list of all available fact types. With a click on the desired fact type, the corresponding Input mask opens.
