In all services and irrespective of the type of information, the option "edit" will only be displayed next to the item, if you have the permission to edit (-> Permissioning System).
Clicking "edit" directs you to the entry mask (-> Create Information/Integrate Files). You can alter parts of the information, change the permissions, etc.
