E-portfolios are personal knowledge spaces in the Internet. They are used for the presentation of learning successes and for self-portrayal ("electronic CV"), as well as for personal content management. More and more attention is attracted by the potential of e-portfolios to serve as discussion and reflection rooms, which directly encourage and support learning processes.
