To keep the consistency of the discussion process, you cannot delete anything in the Forum. If you made a typing mistake while writing your message, you still have the possibility to fix the error in a short time. If for the time being the message hasnt been read by any other user you can see the link change text. This link is only seen while you are viewing the posting in the overview tree.
However, there is a possibility for individual topics and/or postings, and their associated replies, to be hidden. The write-permitted persons in addition have the hide link to the rightmost of each title in the Forum. This way for example old non-relevant discussions can be separated out.
