Eine neuere Version dieses Facts existiert bereits.. (anzeigen:)
Optional static or dynamic linking
explanation:
If a piece of information ("fact") is changed on an FCS platform, the
old version is not deleted. Instead a new version, which is placed over
the old one, is created. This mechanism is absolutely vital in order to
be able to choose wheter a link should point to a specific version or
always to the most current version.
concrete examples:
dynamic link
Usually, information is linked dynamicly. This means, the link
automatically refers to the latest version. This way, modified
content such as price or contact information is automatically made
visible. The link does not need to be updated.
static link
With regard to the changeability of content, it might sometimes be
necessary not only to specify to which information a link refers but
also to which version. For instance, the author of an online article
can include a link to a specific version of a piece of information,
which is also available online, he or she referenced in his article.
