M.A. Lotte Krisper-Ullyett was born on the 28th of October 1966 in Steyr. After the Study in the Institute for "Business management" at the WU (University of economics), Vienna, and a year of Scientific Generics in Cambridge, she has worked for 5 years for Reuters. In the beginning she has worked in Vienna in the field of business information products for sales and marketing. In 1996, because of her good knowledge of the Russian language, she has moved for half a year to Moscow. Her task there was to get contracts in the former Soviet Union, i.e. to win the local and regional newspapers, and/or news agencies as data suppliers for the "Reuters Business Briefing" database. After she has returned, she continued this task in the whole central and Eastern Europe, especially Poland, Hungary, Czech republic and Slovakia.
In 1999, together with Max Harnoncourt and Franz del Fabro, she has founded the company factline, to start working with "virtual knowledge communities" and take up the path from Information management into the direction of knowledge management.
In 2001 Lotte Krisper-Ullyett has worked as assistant lecturer in the higher education college course of studies for Information and knowledge management with focus on "Knowledge Management & Networking" in Eisenstadt, combining it with the main focus of factline. Since last year, she holds a part ("Methods of the KM") of the lecture "Introduction to knowledge management".
Since 2001 she is a lecturer in the college for higher education for information-related professions FHIB Eisenstadt, in the department of information and knowledge management. Among other things she makes her lectures using the blended learning approach.
